Q. Is everything confidential?

A. In the majority of cases, yes. I have supervision in accordance with BACP requirements where I may discuss aspects of our work where I need clarification of the way I work with you but in all cases you or any of your details would never be disclosed. My supervisor would not be able to work out who you are or what your issues are. There are specific things that if you did disclose to me I would be obliged to report, however, I would outlline these in our intial meeting and would always attempt to discuss any potential break of confidentiality with you first. I would also like to mention that such breaks of confidentiality are very rare.
