Q. Where can I get immediate help?

A. For people who are feeling suicidal or in immediate crisis, the Samaritans are available 24 hours on 08457 909090 or via e-mail to jo@samaritans.org however their e-mail response time is not immediate. Their website, www.samaritans.org.uk offers advice and other ways to contact them. Some people may already have a support team of carers but NHS direct on 0845 4647 can offer advice over the telephone.
